More About Your Role

With your clinical experience in product management, you'll begin contributing immediately by managing and strategically driving our tissue valve product line. You'll be entirely responsible for a clearly defined marketing strategy and tactical execution of our marketing plans, which include bringing two new products to launch this year.
Your initial challenges will revolve around assessing the competitive landscape and evaluating new market entrants; understanding and coming up to speed with new minimally invasive surgical techniques and procedures; and becoming a subject-matter expert to effectively reach out to cardiac surgeons and patients educating them on new treatment options available for cardiovascular disease.
You will spend the bulk of your time, about 40%, working with our field organizations developing the overall marketing and sales strategy (this includes about 20% of travel time); another 25% on new product launches; and the remainder 35% implementing marketing strategies to ensure an optimal promotional mix. Specifically your responsibilities are to:
Provide leadership to multi-functional product development teams to define market needs and customer requirements, assess business viability, and develop marketing strategy.
Monitor competitive activity and maintain an appropriate level of field sales interaction to stay abreast of market conditions and needs.
Define and execute promotional materials, market research, educational symposia, and clinical studies in support of product line; develop key presentations for surgeons, taking them on tour to the valve museum, and influence key opinion leaders.
Manage new product launches, including development and execution of product positioning, pricing, packaging, launch strategy, sales training materials, and promotion.
Forecast budgets for promotional spending and watch for changing market conditions which may affect forecasting and sales.
Manage all operational aspects of the product line.
Mentor and develop junior product managers.

High-energy and motivation to initiate tasks and follow-through effectively.
If this sounds like the right mix of challenge and opportunity for you, and you meet the minimum qualifications, we want to hear from you!
